Yezdi Streetfighter leaked from a dealer event, launch expected soon

Yezdi Motorcycles appears to be expanding its lineup with a potential addition to its portfolio. Recent images from a dealer event have surfaced, showcasing what could be the Yezdi Streetfighter, a model based on the Yezdi Scrambler.

The similarities between the two models are striking, suggesting that the Yezdi Streetfighter might share much of its bodywork and styling with the current Scrambler offering. From the LED headlight to the ribbed seat and wide handlebar, many design elements seem consistent. Even the single-pod instrument cluster mounted on the right side bears a strong resemblance to that of the Scrambler.

However, there are notable differences, particularly in the exhaust setup. The Yezdi Streetfighter sports a two-in-one canister setup on the right side, indicating potential changes in both aesthetics and functionality. Other hardware distinctions include telescopic front forks with gaiters, dual rear shocks and single-disc brakes with ABS at both ends. The bike also rides on spoke wheels wrapped in CEAT Crossrad tyres, offering a blend of durability and performance.

One intriguing detail is the ‘334’ sticker adorning the side panels, likely signalling the engine capacity. If the Yezdi Streetfighter moves into production, it’s anticipated to house the same 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine found in the Scrambler, producing 29.36 BHP and 28.21 Nm of torque. This powerplant would be mated to a 6-speed gearbox, promising a dynamic riding experience.

While the spy shots suggest that the Yezdi Streetfighter is in the pre-production stage, its ultimate fate remains uncertain. Whether it will join Yezdi’s lineup of motorcycles will likely be revealed in the coming months, leaving enthusiasts eager for more updates and insights into this potential addition to the brand’s offerings.
