TVS Jupiter to get new design elements including new lights

TVS Motor Company appears to be working on an updated version of the Jupiter 110 scooter. Reportedly, the new model is currently undergoing testing in Maharashtra. The update is expected to bring aesthetic enhancements, potentially making the scooter sportier and more attractive compared to the existing version.

One of the key updates anticipated is a new tail light setup, with the possibility of an LED configuration that could significantly enhance the scooter’s visual appeal. Alongside design tweaks, new colour options might also be introduced, providing consumers with a refreshed look.

Despite these aesthetic changes, the updated TVS Jupiter 110 is likely to retain its current engine and hardware setup. The scooter is expected to continue with the same 109.7cc, air-cooled engine, delivering an output of 7.77 BHP and 8.8 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a CVT transmission system. The hardware configuration will likely remain the same, featuring telescopic front forks, a monoshock at the rear and drum brakes on both ends, with an option for a disc brake on higher-spec models.

The current Jupiter 110 has had a longstanding design and a refresh could boost its presence in the market. Competing with the well established Honda Activa 6G, an updated Jupiter 110 could potentially increase TVS’s market share in this competitive segment.

The combination of aesthetic improvements with the proven mechanical components might make the upcoming Jupiter 110 a compelling option for scooter buyers.
