TVS upcoming cruiser motorcycle design leaked
TVS has patented a new design of what looks like a proper cruiser motorcycle in the month of March 2023. We believe it is their upcoming Royal Enfield 650 rival or it could also be Norton’s entry-level bike or something totally different that we aren’t aware of.
At this stage, we can only make speculations about this mysterious motorcycle. The design patent only reveals this front profile of the bike. It comes with a wide handle bar, retro looking round headlamp, USD forks, single exhaust setup and a sizeable tyre.
It looks like an air-oil cooled engine with a capacity of more than 500cc. Recently there were reports about TVS developing a new twin-cylinder 650cc engined motorcycle to compete head on with Royal Enfield.
The 650cc engine in the RE bikes produce 47 HP and 52 Nm of torque. We can expect something in the same ball park from TVS.
It is likely that the Indian bike maker might borrow some engineering expertise from their recently purchased British brand – Norton Motorcycles for the new bike.
TVS is expected to come up with multiple new premium motorcycles including cruiser bike, scrambler, ADV, etc.
