Toyota Introduces Fortuner TRD Sportivo

Toyota continues its launches of limited edition models this festive season. After bring out special editions of the Etios twins, Innova and Corolla, the Japanese automaker has now launched the Fortuner TRD Sportivo. This limited edition variant of the Toyota Fortuner will be available till December 2012 and only 600 units will be sold.. The Fortuner TRD Sportivo is priced at Rs. 21.76 lakhs for the 4×2 manual variant, while the automatic transmission variant is priced at Rs. 22.60 lakhs (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).

The addition of these cosmetic features lend the Toyota Fortuner a slightly different appearance than the regular model. This is part of the company’s way to ensure demand is tapped in the festive season. The Fortuner is powered by a 3.0-litre diesel engine which produces 171 BHP of power and 343 Nm of torque.
