Pierce and his son were on a ski trip in France and decided to download Top Gear using the wireless data card on his laptop. However his data plan wasn’t exactly cheap when he ended up with a £21,716 ($30,334.40) bill, all thanks to Top Gear. However Vodafone waived the fee, giving Peirce a warning to keep a tab on his download plan.
