The car will be heavily modified to comply with the strict safety norms prevalent in the U.S.A but will retain the same design philosophy. The Nano will get a bigger and more capable engine along with better lights, body, seats, steering wheel, instrumentation as well as airbags and anti-lock braking system when it sees the green light in the U.S. All this will naturally increase the sticker price of the world’s cheapest car by a significant margin.
