Tata Nano Diesel Launch In September

Tata Motors will launch the diesel powered Nano in September, 2011. The Nano Diesel will be powered by a 700cc twin cylinder motor and will be priced around Rs. 2 lakh. Performance of the diesel Nano will see a huge improvement of close to 30% better than its petrol counterpart. The diesel engine of the Nano will feature the world’s smallest turbocharger, which is being developed by Honeywell. Bosch will be responsible for the smallest CRDi system, which will help Tata Motors make the cheapest diesel car in the world.
