Tata Motors upcoming flagship will make it to UK shores next year. The Aria has been designed keeping in mind the strict European safety requirements and the company expects to get a 4-star rating from EuroNCAP. Based on a body-on-frame construction (no monocoque here), the Aria will be powered by a 2.2 liter, 140bhp diesel engine which does duty in the current Safari. The Tata Aria will also feature full-time four-wheel drive and will subsequently be launched in Turkey, Italy, Spain and Poland.
