Tata Motors To Hike Prices

Tata Motors will hike the prices of its Passenger Vehicles with effect from April 1, 2011. Indica prices will go up by Rs. 7000/- to Rs. 9000/-, Vista and Indigo CS by Rs. 8000/- to Rs. 11000/- and Manza by Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 15,000/-. Venture prices will go up by Rs. 9000/- to Rs. 12000/-, Sumo by Rs. 13,000/- to Rs. 15,000/-, Grande by Rs. 16,000/- to Rs. 19,000/-, Safari by Rs. 18,000/- to Rs. 29,000/- and Aria by Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 36,000/-. The company is being forced to take these increases on account of steep rise in input costs.
