Tata Motors Plans Global Manufacturing Plants

Tata Motors is planing to build its cars at strategic off-shore locations in order to capture a larger chunk of the export market. The company plans to assemble the Indica, Indigo and Nano in countries like Brazil, South Africa and Indonesia. Tata Motors had recently appointed distributors in countries where it lacks any presence. The company plans to target the European markets with small cars and the growing sector of electric vehicles.
