Tata Motors Commences Nano Exports

Tata Motors has commenced exports of the world’s cheapest car to overseas market as the automaker plans to globalise its Nano. The company send a consignment of 498 Nano cars last month but has not disclosed which country the vehicles were exported. A formal announcement on the commencement of exports is expected shortly. However the exported vehicles might not be for sale purpose and could be used for various reasons including the setting up of a vendor base in that particular country. Recently Tata Motors had announced its intentions to setup a plant in various countries to manufacture the Nano, as it looks to take the small car to global markets.
