Skoda Starts Online Sales Of Rapid

Skoda has commenced online sales of the Rapid, which is the most convenient way of booking the latest car from the Czech automaker. Customers can also track their bookings online, which will help them get a better idea about the complete process. Bookings can be made on Skoda’s India site here and all the instructions are present under the online booking tab. Skoda receives close to 400 bookings every month through their online bookings for all their models. The company has already received 18 bookings for the Skoda Rapid, in just one hour of booking commencement. Bookings can be made for Rs. 5000 through credit/debit card or net banking and the customer has to pay Rs. 45,000/- to the chosen dealership within three days for completing the booking.
“We have introduced the online booking engine with the launch of the Rapid and have already received a huge response. Even though the e-commerce business in India is still at nascent stage, we expect the mode to strengthen in coming years. This is aimed towards creating more transparency in the business. With online booking one person can avail 24X 7 booking facility at place and time convenient to him or her,” Mr. Thomas Kuehl, Board Member and Director Sales and Marketing, Skoda India, said.
