Skoda Rapid AT Bookings Commence, Launch Next Month
Skoda Rapid AT bookings have commenced in India and prospective customers can reserve their own Rapid for a refundable fee of Rs. 25,000/-.
Booking can either be done at the brand’s authorised dealerships or on Skoda’s India website. Deliveries will begin from 18th September onwards.
Brand Director of Skoda Auto India, Zac Hollis has already revealed that the Rapid AT will come with a 6-speed torque converter auto box, which will appeal to a broader set of buyers.
The Skoda Rapid AT will be powered by a 3-cylinder 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine that produces 110 PS of maximum power and 175 Nm of peak torque.
With the Skoda Rapid AT bookings commenced and delivery date announced, the brand has even released the official fuel efficiency figures for the car and it can do 16.24 km/l, says the carmaker.
Further, Skoda claims that in comparison with the previous 1.6-litre MPI petrol engine, the new Rapid AT offers nine percent increase in fuel efficiency.
