Skoda Octavia Facelift Images Leaked Ahead Of Launch

Skoda is going to launch the facelifted version of the Octavia in the coming few weeks.

The Skoda Octavia facelift has been spotted at the company’s plant in Aurangabad without any sort of camouflage, ahead of its launch. The facelifted version of the Octavia gets a revised front profile with new dual LED headlights with LED DRLs, a revised grille and a tweaked bumper. The grille and the bumper are accentuated with a dash of chrome.

The side profile of the car remains largely the same. The rear bumper and the tail lights get minor tweaks on them. Get inside the car and you’ll notice there are very minimal changes to the inside too. The infotainment system seems to be updated while you also get a colour multi-information display now.

The current Octavia is offered with the 1.4-litre TSI, 1.8-litre TSI and 2.0-litre TDI engines. Most probably, Skoda will keep the engine line up untouched. However, the Volkswagen group has been phasing out the 1.8-litre TSI engine globally so it remains to be seen whether the Octavia facelift continues to come with the larger engine or not. Prices for the updated sedan will be increased by Rs. 1.5-2 lakhs.
