Skoda Announces Price Reduction Up To Rs. 46,000 For Kylaq, Lower Variants See A Price Hike
Skoda had launched the Kylaq and received appreciation for its introductory price point. It presented a value for money proposition, but these prices were going to increase. However, Skoda has announced a price reduction for certain variants up to Rs. 46,000.
The company scheduled the introductory prices to end on April 30, 2025. The company rarely reduces prices, as it usually hikes them after the introductory period. However, there are a few variants that have seen a price jump as well.
Pricing
The prices for the lower-spec Classic, Signature and Signature AT see an increase of Rs. 25,000, Rs. 26,000 and Rs. 36,000, respectively. The mid-spec Signature and Signature+ MT and AT get a price reduction of Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 5000 respectively.
The top-end Prestige trim sees a price reduction of Rs. 46,000 for MT and Rs. 41,000 for the AT. These reductions do not include select colours which are offered as optional extras at Rs. 9,000 for the first three trims.

The Skoda Kylaq is powered by a 1.0-litre turbocharged 3-cylinder engine producing 114 HP and 178 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The sub 4 metre SUV does 0-100 Km/hr in 10.5 seconds!
Outlook
It is safe to assume that this price reduction will have a lasting impact on the potential buyers considering the Kylaq. Skoda offers a sportier experience compared to the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon and Maruti Brezza.
