Royal Enfield Plans Capacity Expansion

Royal Enfield is planning to set up a new facility which would help the company manufacture close to 10,000 units per month. Post the launch of the Classic 350, the company has been receiving alot of demand, which it has not been able to keep up with. The company produced 4,000 units on average every month last quarter, far lower than the design capacity of 5,000 units, due to internal constraints at its Chennai facility.
