Pete’s Solidarity Drive Kicked Off

Pete’s Solidarity Drive, starting from Kanyakumari to reach Leh, the flood ravaged province in Ladakh, was flagged off by the district collector, Dr. M. Beena at Cochin. The four member team of Pramod P. Thevannoor, Jacob joy, Oommen Philip and Jayakrishnan have set off in their Mitsubishi Pajero. The drive is envisaged to show solidarity towards the residents of Leh, who endure the continuing hardships and to bring aid to them. Clothes, medicines, essential articles and relief fund will be handed over to the Chief Executive Councilor, Leh, on 26th September, in the presence of government authorities.
