Based out of Gurugram, Haryana, Okinawa was founded in 2015 as an electric two-wheeler manufacturer. With the launch of the Ridge and Praise e-scooters, the company has already already made its intentions clear. At the 2018 Auto Expo, Okinawa has now showcased another electric product which has striking resemblance to the Ducati Monster range of premium sportbikes.

Named the Okinawa OKI 100, the displayed vehicle is currently in prototype stage. The electric motorcycle features a muscular front-heavy stance, bulbous fuel tank, sculpted seat, partly exposed frame and a stubby tail section. Wrapped in a bright red paint scheme, the motorcycle does look like a mini Ducati Monster. It also gets red-painted front alloy wheel, split-beam headlamp, all-LED lighting setup and a fully digital instrument console.

Powering the OKI 100 is a 2.5 kW belt-driven electric motor that comes with a li-ion detachable battery. The company claims a top speed of 100 km/hr and riding range of 150 kms per charge. It will take two hours for a charger to charge the battery completely. The bike gets USD forks at the front and a mono shock unit at the rear. Braking duties will be performed by disc brakes deployed at either end.
