Nissan Friend-Me Concept Makes India Debut At Auto Expo [Live]
Nissan is showcasing their Friend-Me concept at the 2014 Auto Expo. It is a funky concept that looks muscular, fluidic and aggressive at the same time. The silhouette of the Nissan Friend-Me concept is a mix of sedan and hatchback design. The front end boasts of a prominent Nissan ‘V’ theme that includes the strong bonnet lines merging with the brawny Nissan grille. The swoopy bumper up front supports the grille with triangular airdams situated on either side. The headlamps are angular and get LED treatment.
The side profile of the Nissan Friend-ME is sporty, thanks to the roofline and massive alloy wheels. The Nissan Friend-Me’s rear appears to be a hatchback when viewed head-on but in the three-quarter’s angle there is a hint of a sedan. Just like the headlights, the tail lights are angular and distinct. The rear bumper also gets a sporty tone. The Japanese automaker has designed the Friend-Me concept keeping in mind the young generation.
The interiors of the Nissan Friend-Me concept also carry forward the young and energetic design philosophy of the exteriors. The cabin has four separate seats with futuristic styling and numerous gadgets and gizmos. Powering the Nissan Friend-Me concept would be a PureDrive hybrid powertrain that includes a 2.0-litre petrol engine coupled to an electric motor for optimum fuel economy. The Nissan Friend-Me concept has been designed for city driving.
