New K-Series Alto Spied

We have earlier reported that Maruti Suzuki will be launching the new Alto soon which will be powered by a 1 ltr, 3 cylinder, K-series engine, the same one which is currently serving the new Wagon R. The new K series Alto has been snapped by Carwale and the pictures suggest that Maruti had done a good job in refreshing its best selling model.

The evolution of the Alto was inevitable. The Alto is going with the same looks with which it was launched almost 10 yrs ago barring a few cosmetic changes here and there. The new alto looks a little taller compared to its predecessor and the rear has been nicely shaped with a new set of tail lamps and a curvy boot. Rear number plates will be fitting on to the boot door. The front lights go with the rear ones and this new look makes the car look wider than it actually is.

The launch of this new Alto is just around the corner and this car is expected to be priced between 3 – 3.5 lakhs. The new k-series engine also means that this car will deliver a mileage of more than 20 kmpl.
