MG Motor – The MG Hector and Gloster currently have a waiting period of up to 4 months. The carmaker had conducted annual maintenance shutdown at their plant for 11 days in January. This has affected the production and supply chain of the company. As a result, there is a waiting period of up to 2 months for Hector and up to 4 months for Gloster.

Maruti – The carmaker recently introduced their subscription program Maruti Suzuki Subscribe. They are gradually expanding their presence across the country. More recently they have come up with the Subscribe program in Kochi. They have partnered with ALD Automotive India for its subscription program. All inclusive monthly charges for Maruti Wagon R starts at Rs. 12,153/- for a tenure of 48 months in Kochi.

Suzuki – The Japanese bike maker has increased the pricing of their Gixxer 250 range. Both the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250 get a price hike of Rs. 2073/-. The Gixxer 250 is priced at Rs. 1,67,700/- while the Gixxer 250 SF is priced at Rs. 1,78,400/- (all prices, ex-showroom).

Tesla – The American electric carmaker will recall 1,35,000 cars in US as requested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). According to the authority some units of Model S and Model X vehicles with touchscreen displays could fail and raise the risk of a crash.
