Mitsubishi To Discontinue EVO Series

There can be hardly any heartbreaking news for a car enthusiast as much as this. Mitsubishi, which recently launched the Evo X in India for Rs. 50 lakhs has decided to pull the curtain on the model, globally. The head of global product development for Mitsubishi has confirmed the Lancer Evolution X to be the last Evo and no more of the rally inspired cars will come in the future. Justifying its stand, the company says the move to be a part of a shift in strategy to focus on EV technology. Looks like Mitsubishi is taking impulsive decisions as there are few cars with the sporty recall of the Evo.
