MG M9 & Cyberster Prices Increased In India By Up To Rs. 5 Lakhs
JSW MG Motor India has revised the prices of its flagship electric models, the M9 luxury MPV and the Cyberster roadster. Both vehicles, which are retailed exclusively through the company’s MG Select dealerships, have become more expensive following the latest price revision.
The MG M9, available in a single Presidential variant, now costs Rs. 79.95 lakhs (ex-showroom). This represents a price increase of Rs. 4.05 lakhs over its previous asking price.
The MG Cyberster has also received a price revision. The electric two-door convertible is now priced at Rs. 82.50 lakhs (ex-showroom), making it Rs. 5 lakh more expensive than before.
The revised prices follow MG’s earlier announcement that its flagship electric offerings would see a price increase from July 2026.
Alongside the updated pricing, JSW MG Motor India is preparing to expand its New Energy Vehicle (NEV) portfolio. The company is expected to unveil a new model later this week, although it has not officially confirmed the vehicle’s identity.
Industry speculation suggests the upcoming model could be based on the Wuling Starlight 560, which is expected to be offered with both plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and all-electric powertrain options. The SUV has previously been spotted testing on Indian roads, and patent filings have also indicated that MG is evaluating the model for the domestic market. However, the company has not yet confirmed its launch plans or technical specifications.
