MG Comet Launched, Priced From Rs. 7.98 Lakhs
MG Comet price revealed for the Indian market
MG Comet launched in India with a starting price of Rs. 7.98 lakhs (ex-showroom & introductory). This is the pricing of the base variant. Higher variants pricing will be revealed in May.
It is a 2-door compact vehicle with 4-seater configuration. The small footprint is ideal for city commuting. This can be used as a secondary car in the household. It looks quirky because of the size.
The interior gets minimalistic design with a modern looking dashboard and steering wheel. It comes with a dual screen setup having 10.25-inch touchscreen and 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster.
It gets a 17.3 kWh Li-ion battery offering a claimed range of up to 230 km on full charge. It comes with 3-drive modes & 3 KERS modes. iSmart with 55+Connected Car Features, 100+ Voice Commands on offer. One Touch Slide & Recline Passenger Seat.
Some of the safety features include Dual Front Airbags, ABS +EBD, Front & Rear 3 pt. Seat Belts, Rear Parking Camera & Sensor, TPMS (Indirect) and ISOFIX Child Seat.
MG Motors has also announced two special editions of the Comet – Gamer edition and the LIT edition. It will also be available with several personalisation options including 250+ decal options, graphics, etc.
