Mercedes V-Class Marco Polo Launched; Priced From Rs. 1.38 Crore
The Mercedes V-Class Marco Polo Edition is like a small house on wheels.
The only luxury carmaker at the 2020 Auto Expo, Mercedes-Benz launched the V-Class Marco Polo at the 2020 Auto Expo at a starting price of Rs. 1.38 crore (ex-showroom). Since the V-Class has had decent success in the Indian market, the brand is considering to build upon the same and expand its MPV line-up with this luxury camper.
The V-Class Marco Polo comes in two variants – Marco Polo Horizon priced at Rs. 1.38 crore and Marco Polo tagged at Rs. 1.46 crore (all prices, ex-showroom). Currently, the Mercedes V-Class is offered in 3 variants – Exclusive, Expression, and Elite which gets the updated BS6 compliant engine. The regular variants are priced from Rs. 68.40 lakhs to Rs. 1.10 crore.
According to Mercedes, the V-Class Marco Polo combines outdoor ruggedness with the carmaker’s luxury and technology. It includes a fully-equipped kitchenette, fold-out table, wardrobe, refrigerator, water supply, etc much like a compact and cozy mini-home.
The new model comes with the new 1950cc diesel engine that churns out 163 HP and 380 Nm of torque.
