As always, Maruti Suzuki has a huge exhibit at the Auto Expo showcasing a wide range of cars. The carmaker has some interesting concepts to showcase at the biennial event every time. This time around it is the Maruti Futuro-e electric car concept.
It has been designed by the in-house team of Maruti Suzuki in India. The Futuro-e electric car concept has a unique SUV coupe body style which looks quite attractive and unique coming from Maruti Suzuki. Usually, their designs are very neutral but this time they have turned around the design direction.
The Maruti Futuro-e concept is a design study for next-generation mobility solutions of the carmaker. They have pegged it as an Indian car with global sensibilities.
There are wraparound headlights and taillights and a unique colour scheme. The Futuro-e looks the best from the side profile where you can notice the fusion of coupe and SUV styling.
The production version of the electric car will retain some of the elements from the concept but we expect it to be a significantly toned-down version for practicality in real-world conditions.
