Maruti Ciaz Gets Auto Trunk Opener Accessory [Video]

The Ciaz now comes with hands-free boot opening feature Auto Trunk which is available as an accessory.

Maruti Suzuki has introduced a new Auto Trunk Opener accessory for the Ciaz. It helps users open the boot hands-free by doing a kick gesture under the rear bumper. We have seen this feature on high-end cars. However, it is the first in segment feature for the Ciaz as an optional accessory.

The Auto Trunk Opener is available for Rs. 3390/- at Nexa dealerships. Maruti Suzuki is currently offering this accessory only with the Ciaz. We expect the carmaker to introduce it for the other cars as well. It is a convenient feature and practical too.

The Maruti Ciaz is available with a lot more accessories on offer and you can even configure it online. Some of the accessories include chrome garnish accents, side body moulding, sun visor, interior package with floor mats, seat covers, etc.

Maruti currently offers the Ciaz in three engine options including 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre diesel and 1.3-litre diesel. It is available in 7 colour options and comes with a starting price of Rs. 8.19 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Ciaz competes with the likes of Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Skoda Rapid, Volkswagen Vento and Toyota Yaris.
