Maruti Alto BS6 S-CNG Launched, Priced From Rs. 4.32 Lakhs

The Maruti Alto BS6 CNG has been launched in India and it is available in LXi and LXi (O) trims.

Maruti Suzuki has launched the S-CNG version of the Alto 800 BS6 in India. The CNG version is available in 2 variants – LXi and LXi (O). Maruti claims that the CNG variants will deliver an efficiency of 31.59 kms/kg.

The Maruti Alto 800 comes powered by a 796cc, 3-cyl, F8B petrol engine. On petrol, the engine produces 48 HP and 69 Nm while on CNG it churns out 40.36 HP and 60 Nm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The CNG tank comes with a 60-litre water equivalent filling capacity.

Apart from the addition of the factory-fitted CNG kit, the Maruti Alto 800 comes with no other changes. The vehicle comes with features like a standard driver side airbag, optional passenger side airbag, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, and seat-belt reminders.
