Mahindra XUV700 Scores 5-Star GNCAP Safety Rating

It is safe to say that the Mahindra XUV700 has been the most talked about SUV of this year. The vehicle really impresses as a package and hopes were high for the safety ratings of this SUV, more so after seeing the Thar score an impeccable 4-star rating as well.

Global NCAP has awarded the Mahindra XUV700 a brilliant rating of 5-stars. The vehicle has scored 16.03 out of 17 in adult occupant protection and 41.66 out of 49 for child occupant protection. The variant that was tested was equipped with dual front airbags, ABS and ISOFIX child seat mounts.

Global NCAP stated that the SUV offered good protection to the driver’s and front passenger’s neck, head, chest and knees. The body shell and footwell area were also deemed as stable and capable of withstanding further loadings.

The Mahindra XUV700 was launched recently and it has received a very good response from customers. The top variants are loaded to the gills with safety features like seven airbags, ADAS Level-2 features, driver drowsiness detection, auto high beam assist and booster headlamps.
