Mahindra has dropped the name Logan for its entry level saloon. The company will now call the Logan, the Verito, which in Latin means truth. All Mahindra vehicles have a name which ends with the letter ‘O’ and now the Logan joins this ideology. The Verito has not gone on sale yet and Mahindra will remove all Renault badges from the car, add side claddings and redesigned rear view mirrors, once it launches the car early next month. A less than 4 meter Veito is also on the cards, which will help the company to get excise duty benefits. Looks like Mahindra is a firm believer in Onomastics.
