Mahindra Inaugurates The New Mahindra India Design Studio In Mumbai; Boasts Capacity Of Over 100 Designers

Mahindra inaugurates the new Mahindra India Design Studio (MIDS) in Mumbai. The new state-of-the-art facility is designed to facilitate the company’s design capabilities and improve the speed at which product development takes place. The new facility can host over 100 designers.

The future-proof studio was established back in 2015 for a dedicated effort towards Mahindra’s Auto and Farm businesses. However, with the growth of the larger portfolio consisting of Auto, Farm and Last Mile Mobility (LMM), the studio needed to be expanded. The new studio is almost double the size of the existing studio.

Outlook

The expanded MIDS aims to be a magnet for talent. It should bridge the collaborative efforts between India and the company’s global design outpost, Mahindra Advanced Design Europe (MADE). This will help the company develop products of global quality within the country’s borders.
