Land Rover Defender Bookings Open, Priced From Rs. 69.99 Lakhs

Latest generation Land Rover Defender bookings commenced in India, deliveries in August.

The iconic British SUV Land Rover Defender was reborn last year with a completely new design language and tech but with the same capable off-road soul. The new Defender is now coming to India as bookings have officially commenced.

The new Land Rover Defender will be priced from Rs. 69.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). The deliveries of the new Defender will commence in August 2020. It will be available in both 90 and 110 body styles.

The Defender will be imported via CBU in India initially. It will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine producing 300 PS and 400 Nm of torque.

There will be five variants on offer for both 90 (3 door) and 110 (5 door) models – Base, S, SE, HSE and First Edition.

There will be a lot of customisation on offer with multitude of seating options, accessory packs and features to choose from.

For the Indian market, the Defender will be offered with 360° Surround Camera, Wade Sensing, Electronic Air Suspension (Standard on 110), Smartphone Pack, Connected Navigation Pro, Off-Road tyres, Centre Console with refrigerated compartment (optional) and more.
