Lamborghini has pulled off the wraps of the Aventador J, which takes open top motoring to an entirely new level. Simply put, this Aventador version has no windows at all, nor any roof and does away with all the bells and whistles to concentrate on what matters, SPEED. But this one-off extravaganza is not set for any museum and is put on sale for a price which we could care less about has been sold by €2.1 million. But what we totally care for is the 6.5-litre V12 engine which produces 700 PS of power in a supercar which weighs only 1575 kgs. The weight reduction is possible thanks to the loss of the air-conditioner and navigation systems.

The Lamborghini Aventador J is based on the Aventador LP700-4 coupe and there is only one such piece present in the world. The J name comes from FIAT world motorsport organization’s Appendix J regulation that list the tech specs of race cars. Changes include the removal of the roof and windows with the carbon fibre monocoque chassis getting a redesign. Two safety bars have been added behind the seats and special bucket seats have been added as well. Fatter rubber all around ensure the Aventador J goes as fast as looks.
