Kia Seltos Now Available With Diesel Manual Variants

Kia Seltos gets 5 new diesel manual trims

Kia Seltos variant lineup has now been updated with the much awaited diesel manual powertrain combination. The carmaker has introduced five diesel variants with 6-speed manual transmission – HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX and HTX+. It is priced from Rs. 11.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). With the addition of these 5 variants, Kia India now offers a total of 24 variants with the Seltos. The diesel powertrain alone comes with the option of iMT (Intelligent Manual Transmission), which is a clutch-less technology and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission and now the new 6-speed manual transmission option.

Some of the highlights of the Kia Seltos include Level 2 ADAS autonomous features, dual-screen panoramic display with a 26.04 cm Full Digital Cluster and 10.25-inch HD Touchscreen Navigation, Dual Zone Fully Automatic Air Conditioner, R17 Crystal Cut Alloy Wheels, Dual-Pane Panoramic Sunroof, Electric Parking Brake and more.

It is the same 1.5-litre CRDI diesel engine that produces 116 PS at 4000 RPM and 250 Nm of torque at 1500-2750 RPM. Along with the diesel engine, the Kia Seltos is available with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol motor which produces 115 PS at 6300 RPM and 144 Nm of torque at 4500 RPM. This engine is available with 6-speed manual and CVT automatic transmission options.

There is a 1.5-litre turbo petrol too on offer which produces 160 PS at 5500 RPM and 253 Nm of torque at 1500-3500 RPM. This engine is available with 6-speed iMT and 7-speed DCT automatic transmission.
