Hyundai India is planning to hike prices of all its models in the first week of April by up to Rs 5,000/- The shift from BS III to BS IV standards is the main reason for the price rise. This would be the second price hike by the company after the announcement of Budget in February. What we don’t understand is why does Hyundai need to hike prices, they claim some of their cars to be Euro V ready, so does that mean they are playing a marketing gimmick or hiking prices for the sake of it?
