Hyundai has increased prices across all variants of the Creta with no changes to the feature list or mechanicals. The compact SUV is now even more expensive.

The Creta was officially launched in July 2015 with prices escalating in 3 months

Hyundai arrived in the compact SUV space earlier this year and stirred up quite a storm with the Creta being quick to dominate in terms of sales. In fact, the Korean compact SUV currently accounts for 50 percent of the segment’s cumulative figures. Now, three months into the launch backed by strong demand, the automaker has silently increased prices across all variants by Rs. 10,000-20,001/-. There have been no feature deductions or additions though on either variants of the model. Here is a variant wise price difference between the launch prices and new prices.

Hyundai Creta 1.6 Diesel AT Prices October 2015 (ex-showroom, Delhi) –

The Hyundai Creta made its debut in India in July this year and was quick to capture the fancy of compact SUV buyers amidst established rivals like the Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano and Ford EcoSport. Three months since its launch, the compact SUV has garnered over 50,000 bookings and the waiting period is said to be around 6 months for some variants. While the increase may seem marginal, it only adds to the inflated prices of the Creta. That said, we don’t see the demand coming down anytime soon for the compact SUV by any means.
