Hyundai Creta achieves a new sales record
Hyundai has achieved a new sales record with the Creta. The carmaker has witnessed highest ever sales in a month for the Creta. They sold 15,037 units of the SUV in January 2023. That’s highest ever domestic sales.
The first generation Hyundai Creta was a big hit too. It was introduced to the Indian market in June 2015 and it registered a sale of 4,67,030 units from June 2015 to Feb 2020.
The current generation Creta has registered 3,71,267 units sales from March 2020 to January 2023. This is a big achievement and they haven’t even launched the facelifted version yet of the second generation. Since 2015, Hyundai India has registered more than 3 lakh units of sales of the Creta.
The carmaker is expected to launch the facelift by mid-2023. It will get styling tweaks with the front profile taking inspiration from the new generation Hyundai Tucson. The rear will get some tweaks to the tail lights. We can expect more features in the updated version of the Creta.
Recently, Hyundai launched the RDE compliant version of the SUV which comes with updated safety tech, idle start/stop system and updated engine that meets the new norms.
