Honda To Launch CBR1000RR

We had posted earlier about the superbikes being launched, but due to the economic crisis were delayed. Suzuki has launched the Hayabusa & Intruder and now its Honda’s turn to unleash its superbikes in India. Honda plan to launch the CBR1000RR by March 2009.

“We will launch two models in super bike category with 800-1000 cc engines in this fiscal. Apart from this, we will also bring a new model in the mass market category before March next year.” said Honda General Manager Marketing N K Rattan. “To start with, we will establish our showrooms in the metros. Later on we will expand taking into account serviceability and other issues,” he added.
