Honda To Launch 2022 Amaze Facelift On 17th August
The 2022 Honda Amaze facelift will come with more features and mild styling updates
Honda Cars India is expected to launch the 2022 Amaze facelift on 17th August. The compact sedan should come with a few cosmetic updates and more features this time around.
As part of the midlife refresh, the Amaze is expected to come with LED headlights, redesigned bumpers and a set of new alloy wheels. There might be new paint choices on offer too.
Inside, while the upholstery will be new, there should be more features offered as standard (as buyers these days seem to prefer them a lot).
No changes will be made to the engine and gearbox choices though. Thus, the 1.2-litre petrol engine (90 HP and 110 Nm), 1.5-litre diesel motor (100 HP and up to 200 Nm) and the 5-speed manual and CVT (both engines) will be offered like before.
When launched, the 2022 Honda Amaze facelift should not cost too much more than it does now (priced between Rs. 6.22 lakhs and Rs. 9.99 lakhs, ex-showroom, Delhi).
Once the facelifted version of the Amaze gets launched, its sales should hopefully rise, as in June 2021, it only found 1487 new homes.
