Honda Shine 100 teased ahead of launch

Honda 2 Wheelers India has teased the new Shine 100. It is expected to be a 100cc entry-level commuter motorcycle under the Shine brand.

The Japanese bike maker has confirmed the launch date of the new motorcycle. It will be revealed and launched on 15th March.

The teasers have keywords like ‘Shining Future’ and ‘Honda ki 100’ which makes us believe that it’ll be their 100cc bike under the Shine brand.

Honda currently doesn’t have any 100cc motorcycle in their portfolio. The lowest they have are 110cc commuter bikes.

In terms of styling, we believe the new bike will look similar to the existing Shine on sale. Specs have not been revealed yet but the bike is likely to come with an aggressive price tag and a high fuel efficiency figure.

The new motorcycle will churn out huge volumes in the rural area. We believe it’ll do well in the metro cities as well because delivery apps and two-wheeler commercial segment has a lot of demand for such economical bikes.
