Honda Optimistic About CBR250R Sales

Honda will launch the CBR250R on the 25th of March, 2011. The company has received 2500 bookings for the bike and are expecting to sell close to 30000 units in the first 12 months itself. This is a very optimistic target considering the price of the bike. However given the target set by Honda, we expect the company to hike its production accordingly and thus eliminate any waiting period for the CBR250R. If Honda manage to sell a good number of CBR250Rs, we can expect more players to jump into the 250cc performance segment.
