Honda Elevate world debut on 6th June

Honda Elevate teased, world debut confirmed for 6th June. The new SUV will be the third product of Honda in their India’s lineup.

The teaser image reveals some of the details. It will get a sunroof and comes with shark fin antenna. The design language looks sharp with simple and straight lines.

It is based on the modified Amaze platform. It is not a sub 4-metre car, it will be longer than that and compete with a sea of crossovers and midsize SUVs in the market.

Honda will be offering the same 1.5-litre i-VTEC naturally aspirated petrol motor at the time of the launch. The 1.5-litre strong hybrid petrol engine from the new City is also expected to be offered with the SUV at a later stage.

The Elevate is also expected to come with ADAS tech. The car is will be loaded with features like 360 degree camera, ventilates front seats, wireless smartphone charger, etc.

Production of the Elevate is expected to commence by July and the car is likely to hit the showrooms before the festive season this year.
