Honda Motorcycle Dealership

Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) is planning to cut down waiting period of all its models. Currently except the CB Twister, all Honda motorcycles and scooters command a minimum of 2 months waiting period. The CBR250R takes the cake though and the Honda dealer we visited told us that if you book today, expect your baby CBR after a minimum of 6 months. Further more, there was no display bike nor was any test ride available. But with the second facility in Tapukara in Rajasthan expected to go live, we can expect waiting period on Honda machines to be a thing of the past.

The first phase of the Tapukara facility will start production early next month. This phase will produce 6 lakh units a year, with the next phase going live in 8 months time leading to doubling of production capacity. The Manesar plant in Haryana can churn our 16 lakh Honda bikes annually. Imagine a day when you can go to a Honda showroom and ride out on a CBR250R in just a weeks time.
