Hero Splendor iSmart BS6 Launched; Priced At Rs. 64,900/-
The Hero Splendor iSmart BS6 costs Rs. 7470/- more than the outgoing model.
Hero has launched its first BS6 2-wheeler, the new Splendor iSmart at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 64,900/-. The motorcycle is powered by a new 113.2cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine. The power figure stands at 9.1 PS at 7500 RPM instead of 9.5 PS as before. As per the company, there is a 10% increase in torque at 9.89 Nm produced at 5500 RPM.
The front suspension travel has been increased by 15 mm and the wheelbase has been increased by 36 mm. At 180 mm, the ground clearance offered by the new Splendor iSmart should be adequate to tackle uneven terrains. The seat height at 799 mm remains the same. Deliveries of the motorcycles will begin after 3-4 weeks.
The new Splendor iSmart BS6 gets 3 body paint options – Blue and Black, Red and Black and Silver & Grey. The motorcycle is available in 2 variants – Self Drum Cast and Self Disc Cast and comes with an all-new diamond chassis.
