GMI Faces Labour Strike

General Motors’ manufacturing facility in Halol is facing its second strike in the last fourteen months. Workers have complained of excess workload along with facing health hazards. Out of 1000 workers at the Halol plant, 700 have gone on indefinite strike causing production loss to the company. The strike, which has been termed as illegal by GMI, is expected to continue till the both the union and management come to a consensus.
