GM India Not To Launch Opel

General Motors will not launch the Opel brand in India. Although there have been rumours speculating the launch of the COTY 2009 Insignia’s launch in India, GMI has no intentions whatsoever to launch the brand. The Opel brand was a huge failure in India, owing to extremely expensive spares and poor resale. The Insignia has been spotted multiple times in Bangalore under going tests, but it was being done just as per GM’s global test program.
