Ford EcoSport Platinum Edition Launched In India
The Ford EcoSport Platinum Edition has been launched and it gets useful additions.
Launching limited editions is a tactic employed by most manufacturers to boost sales of their vehicles. Ford India has now launched the EcoSport Platinum Edition and this edition comes with a couple of cosmetic enhancements and some feature additions.
On the outside, the Ford EcoSport Platinum Edition comes with bigger 17-inch alloy wheels in a new design along with a black roof for that contrast look. Both the bumpers get cosmetic appliques too. The interiors come with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that also offers sat-nav, rear view camera and video playback. The EcoSport also gets the addition of cruise control.
The EcoSport Platinum Edition is offered with the 1.5-litre TDCi and 1.0-litre EcoBoost engines. It is priced at Rs. 10.69 lakhs and Rs. 10.39 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the diesel and petrol variants respectively. There are no changes to the engines. On the safety front, this edition comes with 6 airbags and ABS with EBD.
