Ford Business Services To Make Chennai Centre Of Excellence

Ford Business Services plans to make Chennai a Centre of Excellence. The company offers various service to Ford, which include accounting, IT and engineering. With 3 units in Chennai and Coimbatore, Ford Business Services employs 1500 people directly and has 5000 employees in its shared services division and another 5000 in manufacturing. The Chennai facility of Ford Business Services is now the second biggest one of the American automaker.

“For the benefit of Ford, we are leveraging on the big talent pool we have in India. We want to make Chennai a ‘Centre of Excellence’. This is the journey we are on,” Ford Business Services President and MD Joginder P Singh, said.
