Force Motors Plans New Manufacturing Plant

Force Motors has ambitious plans for its passenger vehicle sector. The company plans to launch the Force One SUV in a months time and is also developing a MUV to challenge the Chevrolet Tavera. The Pune based commercial vehicle manufacturer is in talks with the Madhya Pradesh Government for land. This land is being acquired for a new plant which will produce the upcoming MUV at Pithampur. Production of the new passenger vehicle from Force Motors will commence by the end of 2012. The new plant will have an installed capacity of 24,000 units initially, with production being ramped up subsequently to meet demand.
