Force Gurkha Pickup revealed, looks unique
Force Gurkha Pickup and 5-door variants revealed in Indonesia. The Indian UV maker has exported the SUV to the Indonesian market where it’ll be sold as Republik Motor Ksatria. The Indonesian brand will rebadge the vehicle.
The pickup version is based on the same platform and looks quite cool and rugged in its double-cabin avatar. The rear profile gets sleek squarish LED tail light cluster.
The 5-door version was showcased as well revealing the 6-seater layout of the cabin with dual tone dashboard. Both the vehicles were showcased at the Indo Defence Expo and Forum in Indonesia.
The rebadged Gurkha looks exactly the same, the 5-door version will be launched soon in the Indian market. It is powered by a the same 2.6-litre Mercedes-Benz sourced diesel engine producing 91 HP and 250 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
We believe Force should consider introducing the pickup version as well in the Indian market as there will be a lot of takes for the rugged double-cabin pickup truck here.
